At the Historic Dixon Theatre Wednesday night, Snoopy won first prize for his holiday decoration of his dog house, Charlie Brown bought a dinky Christmas tree and Linus told everyone the true meaning of Christmas.

CUE Theatricals brought to the stage in Dixon their latest production, A Charlie Brown Christmas. Several hundred families, many with small children, came to see their beloved characters come to life.

Scott Fattizzi, Technical Director for CUE, said they have seen a growing response from the audiences for the productions brought to Dixon. He also mentioned the casts of the performances have also mentioned the great response.

Speaking of the actors, Fattizzi said they live a busy life, but, they are used to it. The cast needed to leave immediately after the show to travel overnight to get to their next performance in Paducah Kentucky Thursday night. He said the reason for the rush is the short time frame the holiday production can perform.

Fattizzi said the crew for the show has also mentioned how good it is to come to Dixon and have people already here who can help with the set construction and tear down.

Fattizzi mentioned they were pleased with the turn out and the family participation. He said they want to make sure they have productions the whole family can come and enjoy.

The next show will be ABBA MANIA which will take to the Dixon Stage Wednesday January 24th.
