dixon-grad-2025

Sunday afternoon, a long line of Dixon High School students in purple robes marched onto A.C. Bowers Field. They were there to finish a journey they began 13-years ago. This was the graduation of the Dixon Class of 2025.

The stands were filled with family and friends. All of them waiting for the chance to walk across the stage and receive their diploma.

High School Principal Gerard Shaynor gave the graduating class a bit of advice. He said they needed to be where their feet were. This means being in the here and now and not thinking of the future or worrying about the past.

He also reminded them that life would give them challenges and hardships. This could not be avoided. He also hoped that life will bring them happiness, joy, peace and contentment.

He also said to trust in the path and the unfolding of your life story.
