People in Dixon, just like in many communities always complain to their city government about the condition of the roads. Particularly the road in front of their home.
During the Dixon City Council meeting Monday evening the council finalized the contracts for the road-resurfacing program. The total cost this year is $1,434,000.
The two agreements went to Civil Construction for $1.2 million and $88,000 to Fehr Graham. The streets chosen for the work is decided on a scoring process.
Many people have asked which roads are going to be worked on this year. The streets department said they plans to send a press release soon with the street scheduled for repairs.
The repairs again would begin the end of July or the beginning of August.
