On Saturday night, June 14, Ogle County Deputies along with Mount Morris EMS responded to the 3,200 block of West Illinois Route 64 regarding a single-vehicle Accident.
After an investigation, Deputies determined a westbound vehicle operated by 51-year-old Sandra L. Avery of Mount Morris had traveled off the north shoulder of the road. Due to the steep decline, Avery was unable to correct the vehicle’s path and struck a tree and concrete culvert.
Avery was evaluated by Mount Morris EMS and released from the scene with minor injuries.
