Would you like to have your dog as part of the 61st Dixon Petunia Festival? You can this Saturday at Haymarket Square.
According to Petunia Festivals Leah Nelson, they are having the return of the Dog Parade at Haymarket Square. Nelson said the parade just goes around Haymarket Square because it is shaded and better for the humans and the dogs.
Your dog might also bring home a prize from the dog parade. There will be judging and prizes would be awarded for cutest dog, best trick and others. However, you already know your dog is the best.
You can sign up the day of the event. Nelson said you need to show the proof of rabies vaccination. The Dog Parade at Haymarket Square is at 1:00 PM and it is free.
