The City of Rock Falls is providing notice of street closures related to the “George Fest” event scheduled for downtown Rock Falls on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
Beginning at 6:00am on Saturday, July 26 the following roads will be closed to all traffic and parking. Barricades and fencing will be placed to restrict access.
West 2nd Street from 1st Avenue (Route 40) to 4th Avenue
2nd Avenue from West 1st Street to West 2nd Street
2nd Avenue from West 2nd Street to the alley
3rd Avenue from West 2nd Street to the alley
Any vehicles parked in the closed area may be subject to tow. The city will make an effort to contact the vehicle’s owner prior to any vehicle being removed.
These roads will be closed until approximately 8:00am on Sunday, July 27, 2025 to allow for cleanup of the event.
