If you enjoy the small town feel of a festival, the Franklin Grove Harvest Festival is for you and it all happens this weekend.
Village President Eric Grendahl said you could find it all in Franklin Grove. One of the attractions will be the living history display with antique tractors and more on Saturday.
At Chaplin Creek on Saturday from 10:00am-3:00pm is the Big Rig Show. The cost to get in is $20. All of the proceeds will be going to the Shriners Children’s Hospital Transportation Fund.
You can take a step back in time all weekend at Chaplin Creek. There will be kid’s activities, a blacksmith and a chance to see American Revolutionary War re-enactors. About a Hundred soldiers will be setting up camp and you can walk around and talk to the people. On Sunday, experience a battle, complete with cannon.
