After over 27 years of dedicated service to the community of Dixon, Deputy Chief Matthew Richards is hanging up the uniform. The Dixon Police Department, would like to take this opportunity to thank Deputy Chief Richards for his service.
Deputy Chief Richards has held numerous positions within the department including Patrol Officer, Tactical Response Team, Detective, Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, and finally Deputy Chief.
The Dixon Police Department and the City of Dixon are better and safer because of his commitment and dedication to both of them.
The department wish Deputy Chief Richards the best as he enters the next chapter of his life.
