Final Dixon City Market was a Special Time for Many Kids to Sell What They Created

The Dixon City Market is a place where many people come to sell their items, much of it created by themselves.

During the final Dixon City Market Wednesday evening, there was something special.  It was called, City Market Jr.  During this market, kids could set up their own booth and offer their own items for sale.

All of the kids created their own items, such as Aria who said she has been interested in crafts since she was little. Aria said half of the profits would be going into her savings account.

Another business Jr was Marley Bivins.  She had created pouches, wallets and other items.  She said mom may have helped by getting the material, but she did all the work to put them together and paint them.

Many adults said they loved the Market Jr and they hope it becomes more common at the city market.  This was the final City Market for this year; however, there may be a pop up market in September because of the number of market cancellations.
