The 2024 Little League Baseball Illinois State Tournament started on Saturday in Rock Falls with fourteen teams and ended on Wednesday night with Hinsdale Little League winning the championship game 11-3 over Elmhurst.
Hinsdale LL finished the tournament with a perfect 6-0 outscoring their opponents 69-4 in the state tournament. Hinsdale advances into the Great Lakes Region Tournament in Whitestown, Indiana. Champions from Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio will join Illinois in this double elimination tournament starting on Saturday, August 3rd.
Hinsdale will play the Indiana State Champions on August 3rd at 6pm. The Great Lake Region Tournament will crown its champion on Wednesday August 7th and be nationally televised on ESPN2. The winner of this Tournament will advance to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA in mid-August.
